you have a unique opportunity to spend the night in The National Cultural Monument. In order for this leaky building to serve decades or even hundreds of years for future generations, we ask for your consideration.

For safety reasons, SMOKING AND ANY MANIPULATION OF OPEN FIRE IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED throughout the building, on the terraces and in the immediate vicinity of the building. In the exterior, it is possible to use the places designated for this.

At the end of your stay, please hand in the room keys to the LIBUŠÍN restaurant, no later than 10:00 a.m.

ROOM INFORMATION

There is a TV and a fridge with a minibar in the corner cupboard. In the bathroom, you can rent a hairdryer in a wooden stand. Blankets are available in the wardrobe. If you feel cold, please do not take the blankets out of the room.

There is a sign for the maid on the wall hanger in case you do not wish to be disturbed or need to change towels or toiletries.

Board games can be rented on the top floor, please return them to their original place after renting them.

WHAT WE OFFER

At Libušín it is possible to borrow:

• Scooters – rental fee 190 CZK for 4 hours
• Electric bicycle – rental fee 890 CZK for 4 hours
• Sleds – rental fee 150 CZK for 2 hours

Free storage of your bike in the locked courtyard of Libušín. A bicycle lock can be rented with a deposit of 50 CZK  or 200 CZK depending on the type of lock.

Rental rates are subject to current availability, current season and weather.

The wooden trail (Dřevěná stezka) – a 1.5 km educational trail is undemanding, which is why even parents with small children will enjoy it.

Sea eye (Mořské oko) – a forest lake with crystal clear water. Not even half a kilometer from Maměnka, it is part of the Čertův mlýn educational trail, the second stop of the trail.

TRIP TIPS

Libušín a Maměnka

The place where you are right now, the Maměnka hotel and the adjacent legendary phoenix that rose from the ashes, the Libušín restaurant. Jurkovič’s dining room and Hotel Maměnka were built in 1887-1899. The wooden structure of the hotel is completely original. The appearance of the interior of the hotel was returned to Mr. Jurkovič’s original design during the 1999-2003 reconstruction.

The Libušín burned down completely in March 2014. Fortunately, its restoration was successful and the ceremonial approval after the scientific reconstruction took place in July 2020. The Libušín book, published by the museum after the fire and subsequent restoration of the restaurant, is available for viewing in the room. The book is also available for purchase in the restaurant.

Radhošť

– the seventh highest mountain of the Beskydy, 1129 m.a.s.l., here you will find a cross from 1805, the chapel of St. Cyril and Methodius from 1896–1898, their sculpture (by Albín Polášek) from 1931 and a television transmitter. The chapel is the highest church in the Czech Republic. There is a bronze plaque in the chapel commemorating the visit of the President of the Republic T. G. Masaryk to this place on June 23, 1928.
